The inaugural Dublin Festival of Fashion (DFF) attracted thousands of extra shoppers into the city centre over the weekend, with free styling workshops and in-store discounts.
“We’ve definitely demonstrated that there is potential and an appetite for a fashion festival of this nature,” Richard Guiney, fashion festival chief, said. “It is now something that we can build upon and grow for next year, making it a regular staple in Dublin’s events calendar.
“The Dublin Festival of Fashion garnered a lot of attention not just around our own country but also further afield — the festival has even been blogged about in Paris.”
