Time to PYG out on some of the delicious cuisine served up in this new hot spot! “Dishes include Spicy Chorizo and Tomato stew with Roasted Bell Peppers, Button Mushrooms and Fresh Herbs, topped with Patatas Bravas and Sour Cream, served with Bread. About Powerscourt

In 1774 Richard Wingfield 3rd Viscount Powerscourt and his wife Lady Amelia moved
into number 59 South William Street. This was their Townhouse since they owned
a Country House, Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry Co Wicklow.

The reason they
needed a townhouse was because Lord Powerscourt was a Member of Parliament and
Parliament was in College Green (now Bank of Ireland) so having a townhouse meant
he was close to work and he could entertain during the Season. So number 59 was a
house for parties (and still is today!)

Powerscourt is served by Five Multi Story Car Parks. As well as having its own entrance from the Brown Thomas Car Park, it is also within a short walking distance of Drury St, Royal Surgeons, Trinity St. and Stephens Green Shopping Centre car parks.
